Yet beneath all of these paths lives a simple understanding:
We are a Divine Manifestation of Supreme Consciousness, and it is our birthright to be here.
I believe our children deserve to grow up knowing that they belong—to themselves, to their bodies, to their families and communities, to the Earth, and to the unfolding mystery of their own lives.
And I believe the thresholds of growing up matter.
For much of human history, significant passages were witnessed by community. Children were surrounded by stories, rituals, elders, responsibilities, and relationships that helped them understand where they had been, where they were going, and who they were becoming.
Rose Tent grew from a longing to create meaningful spaces for this kind of accompaniment again.
Through Rose Tent, I create spaces where girls can be witnessed, celebrated, challenged, and supported as they cross the thresholds of growing up. I also work alongside mothers who want to walk these passages more consciously with their daughters and women who feel called to become mentors and guides for the next generation.
My current Master of Education work at Antioch University continues this inquiry, exploring rites of passage, developmental thresholds, and the ways education and community can more consciously accompany children and adolescents through the stages of becoming.
For me, Rose Tent is both an offering and an ongoing question:
How do we create the circles, relationships, experiences, and rites of passage that help a young person know:
I belong.
My life has meaning.
My body carries wisdom.
I have something unique to bring to this world.
And I am not walking this passage alone.
This is the heart of Rose Tent.

Honoring Our Origins
Rose Tent began as a shared dream.
Jess and I imagined, created, and brought Rose Tent to life together. I am deeply grateful for the roots we planted, the girls and families who entered the circle, and the years of creation we shared.
As Rose Tent continues to grow and find its next expression, Jess is following the unfolding of her own beautiful work through WildWider, while I continue tending and growing the Rose Tent—creating new circles, rites of passage, experiences, and trainings for girls and the women who walk beside them.
